The OFT collects and processes applications for Gibraltar Business Nurturing Scheme loans on behalf of the Ministry of Commerce.

The scheme has been established by HM Government to financially support the development and progression of new business start-ups in Gibraltar. Applicants may request up to a maximum of £25,000 in the form of a loan, for the commencement of a new business or the expansion of an existing one. Applications to the scheme are assessed on a points-based system by a committee.
